A Discovery Centre and Place for Cultural Exchange on Herring Island. The centre comprises four ‘discovery’ spaces that reveal the contrasting histories of placemaking in Melbourne’s pre-colonial and early colonial settlement, a place of apology and a place of contemporary cultural exchange, together with supporting administrative and service spaces.
